Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has spoken on the title race following a stunning 5-1 Premier League win over Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners had to beat the Cityzens to stay in the title pursuit and they managed to do so in convincing fashion. Speaking after the game, Arteta was asked about the title race with Liverpool.
The Spaniard said that the club need to continue doing the things under their control to keep up the pressure on Arne Slot's side.
He said: "We need to continue doing the things we can control. Today was a difficult game for us and we managed to do it."
Arsenal have moved within six points of leaders Liverpool with the stunning win, but the Merseyside outfit have a game in hand against Everton due to be played at Goodison Park.
The Reds will be favourites to beat the Toffees on the road, but the Gunners will be hoping that the Toffees can get something out of that game.
