Arsenal registered a stunning 5-1 win over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Speaking after the game, manager Mikel Arteta was posed with plenty of questions. One of those was focused on possible deadline day signings.
The Gunners are said to be interested in landing a striker before the window closes. When pressed on this, Arteta refused to rule out a possible arrival.
He said: "I don't know. I have been focused in the last 24 hours on what we needed to do to beat Man City. Intention, we have been clear from every angle of what we want to do. It is always possible."
Arsenal had five different goalscorers against the Cityzens on Sunday. Kai Havertz was one of the stand-out performers with a goal and an assist.
The German missed a glorious chance to score before the half-time break, but he made amends with a sublime goal towards the end of the game.
Arsenal are six points behind league leaders Liverpool after beating City. The Reds, however, have a game in hand against Everton on the road.
