Manchester United could swap Joshua Zirkzee to sign Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz at the end of the campaign, according to Tuttosport.
The Red Devils have had a tough league campaign. They are currently 13th in the standings with just 29 points from 24 matches.
Manager Ruben Amorim will want new signings in the summer, but United may have to spend with caution due to PSR limits.
Zirkzee has been linked with a possible return to Serie A and it is reported that the Bianconeri are open to landing his signature.
Instead of a straight-cash deal, the Bianconeri could propose a swap deal with Luiz moving in the opposite direction instead.
Luiz was a top target for the Red Devils last year, but he ended up joining the Bianconeri from league rivals Aston Villa.
The Brazilian has had a tough time in the Italian top-flight and could be tempted to return to England at the next possibility.
