Gilardino heads for Fiorentina

24 May 2008 - 10:40

Alberto Gilardino is heading to Fiorentina after the Viola agreed terms with his club AC Milan. Gilardino has been frozen out at the Rossoneri, and is desperate to leave the club.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Gilardino is set to be reunited with his former club, who are going to have to pay £10 million for the pleasure.

Gilardino has also decided to take a pay cut to leave Milan to rejoin the Florence side.

Gilardino is desperate to make more first-team appearances so he can make his way into Roberto Donadoni's long-term Italy international plans.
