Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been ruled out for eight weeks after picking up a hamstring injury.
The Senegal international has been the Blues' undisputed starter upfront, but he won't be available for the short term.
Speaking in today's press conference, Maresca confirmed that Jackson's injury is more serious than initially predicted.
He will reportedly be out for the next six to eight weeks as a result and won't be available until after the international break.
In his absence, Christopher Nkunku is poised to lead the line for the west London giants as Marc Guiu is also on the sidelines.
The Spaniard is out with a hamstring injury of his own and may not be available to play for the next two weeks at least.
