Feyenoord wonderkid Givairo Read has his sights on joining Liverpool after turning down a move to Manchester United, according to Caught Offside.
Arne Slot's side are searching for a new right-back this summer with the possibility of Trent Alexander-Arnold heading for the exit door.
The Englishman's contract expires at the end of the season and as things stand, he has no plans of penning an extension at the club.
Caught Offside claim that the Reds are ready to step up their pursuit of Read, who made his professional debut at Slot at Feyenoord last term.
Read has also been the subject of interest from the Red Devils, but he has apparently snubbed them in order to reunite with Slot at Anfield.
Feyenoord are open to parting ways with their prized asset, but they are expected to demand at least €25 million including add-ons for him.
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also monitoring the 18-year-old, but he is likely to prefer a move to the Premier League leaders.
