Vidic: Drogba 'cheat' deserved it

Nemanja Vidic continued his war of words with Chelsea players on Saturday morning as he hit out at Didier Drogba, claiming that the Ivory Coast forward deserved a red card for slapping him in the face.

Vidic said: "Drogba likes to cheat and you need to be on alert about that all the time.



"On Wednesday his nerves let him down which is hardly surprising since the pressure was colossal. The referee was close to the incident and was right.



"What happened in Moscow was the greatest success in my career. I'm still overcome with emotion. On Wednesday night we were so tired no one could think of going to celebrate in a Moscow nightclub. Of course we celebrated for an hour or so at the hotel but then went to bed."
