Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis has landed a shock call up into Fabio Capello's England squad for the games against Trinidad and Tobago and the USA. Lewis only recently made his under 21 debut.

  • Lewis has been in fine form for Posh this year, and has been rewarded for helping Peterbrough into League 1 this year.

Peterborough United's director of football Barry Fry quipped: "This is fantastic news for Joe and Peterborough United.

"I believe there has been an injury to one of the goalkeepers in the squad and they have called Joe up. It will be a fantastic experience for him."
