Manchester United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign Greek wonderkid Konstantinos Karetsas this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 17-year-old is one of the best emerging talents in the Jupiler League. The attacking midfielder has been brilliant in his debut season at Racing Genk.
He recently scored a stunning goal for Greece against Scotland and reports claim that he could pursue a bigger challenge away from Genk very soon.
Napoli are most interested in landing the wonderkid and they have already monitored his performances over the course of the ongoing campaign.
United have joined them and Liverpool in the race, but they won't be able to register him until next year due to Brexit rules for under-age players.
Karetsas will only turn 18 in November this year and United could seek to negotiate an advanced deal for the 2026 winter transfer window.
They must be proactive in the pursuit, considering the interest in the youngster could rise over the coming weeks, as per reports in Italy.
