Newcastle United have joined Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha, according to Ben Jacobs.
The Brazil international has had a fine campaign with Wolves. He has registered 15 goals and provided four assists from 29 appearances.
Cunha has largely operated from the number 10 position and reports claim that there could be plenty of competition for his signature this summer.
Arsenal are long-term admirers of the 25-year-old, but United have recently joined the pursuit. The duo will face competition from Newcastle too.
The Magpies are aiming to go to the next level. The Tyneside outfit have their sights on challenging for the Premier League title under Eddie Howe.
Cunha fits perfectly into their plans, but he is unlikely to come on the cheap. Wolves will hold out for his release clause worth £64m.
The Midlands outfit are set to avoid relegation once more. They are in a strong position to negotiate and won't be providing a discount.
