Arsenal are interested in signing Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Gunners are expected to make several signings during the summer transfer window and a versatile winger is among the top priorities.
Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams has been heavily linked with the Gunners, but Plettenberg claims that talks have taken place with Coman as well.
The 28-year-old will enter the final two years of his contract this summer, and Bayern could be willing to sanction his sale for around €40 million.
Coman has had his injury troubles at Bayern over the years, but he has still been a key contributor in the final third with goals and assists.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal pursue a deal for him. Manager Mikel Arteta could be tempted to add Coman's experience to the squad.
Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the past, but they are not exploring a deal for the Frenchman at the present point of time.
