Manchester United will need to pay around €75 million to purchase Atalanta midfielder Ederson at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils were hot on the trail of the Brazilian last summer, but the Serie A giants had no plans of parting ways with him.
United ended up signing Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain instead, but they are expected to return for Ederson this summer.
Christian Eriksen is expected to leave the Red Devils when his contract expires on June 30. A decision has been made.
Casemiro could also depart with his contract expiring in June next year. A number of Saudi Pro League clubs are keeping tabs.
Ederson could fill the void left by the duo and reports claim that Atalanta won't sanction his sale for anything less than €75m.
The midfielder was reportedly valued at €55m last year, but his stock has risen with his stand-out displays for the Bergamo side.
United are expected to face competition from Real Madrid for the former Salernitana man. The 25-year-old prefers a move to England.
