Arsenal are planning a fresh approach to sign Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins this summer, as per Football Insider.
The Gunners were hot on the trail of the England international last winter. They made an offer worth £50 million which was turned down by Villa.
The Midlands outfit wanted around £60m for his services, but the Gunners were reluctant to meet the reported price tag before the transfer deadline.
Arsenal have maintained an interest in the 29-year-old, who has registered 16 goals and provided 13 assists in 51 appearances for Villa this campaign.
Watkins has his sights on pursuing a bigger challenge in the prime phase of his career and could be tempted to join Arsenal who were his boyhood club.
Personal terms won't be an issue towards a transfer. Villa may need to lower their demands to do business with the Gunners at the end of the season.
Unai Emery's side could be willing to negotiate, considering they may need a high-profile exit in the summer to balance their financial books.
