Chelsea are expected to part ways with goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic during the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Serbian ace spent the previous campaign on loan with French club Strasbourg. He played a big part in their seventh-placed finish.
Petrovic recently returned to the Blues, but he has personally asked to be left out of the travelling squad for the Club World Cup in the United States.
Chelsea could not assure a regular starting role to the 25-year-old, and the decision has been made to offload him over the coming weeks.
Petrovic's departure could coincide with the arrival of a new shot-stopper. The Blues hold a keen interest in landing AC Milan's Mike Maignan.
Maignan was the subject of two bids from the Blues earlier this month and the club are expected to return for him after the Club World Cup.
The Frenchman could be signed for around €20-25 million. The Rossoneri have identified Torino star Vanja Milinkovic-Savic as a successor.
