Liverpool are reportedly planning an ambitious move to sign Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon this summer.
The Merseyside giants have been very active at the beginning of the summer. They have already signed right-back Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Premier League champions have also agreed to land Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen while Milos Kerkez is poised to join the Reds from Bournemouth pretty soon.
Amidst this, The Sun claim that the Anfield outfit are weighing up a move for Gordon, who has been a long-term target. The club first tried to sign him last summer.
Newcastle are in a strong financial situation following their Champions League qualification, but the Reds are ready to test their resolve with a staggering £100m bid.
Gordon could be seen as a replacement for Luis Diaz, who has been touted to depart. The Colombian has been attracting plenty of interest from the Saudi Pro League.
Barcelona are also keen on landing the former Porto attacker.
