Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens is determined to join Chelsea during the summer transfer window, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues were keen on landing the England youth international before the Club World Cup, but they could not secure an agreement.
The club failed with three bids for the winger with the highest being €55 million. Dortmund have set a new asking price of €65m.
The Blues are expected to revisit their interest after the tournament and Romano reports that Gittens is prioritising the London giants.
He said: "Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, not opening doors to other clubs as he maintains the agreement on several year deal with Chelsea. Discussions club to club remain ongoing."
Chelsea are expected to sign a left-sided winger after parting ways with Jadon Sancho following his season-long loan from Manchester United.
Aside from Gittens, the Blues are also exploring a deal for Lyon's Malick Fofana. Initial contact has been established with the French outfit.
