Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres is reportedly furious with the Portuguese champions after they broke their promise made last summer.
The Sweden international had a stupendous campaign with Sporting last term, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists from 52 appearances.
He has been tipped to pursue a bigger challenge this summer, but as things stand, no club has been willing to meet Sporting's £68m price tag.
Arsenal failed with a verbal offer of £55m last week and it is claimed that the Gunners don't plan to revisit their interest unless the fee is lowered.
Gyokeres, meanwhile, is furious at the Sporting hierarchy. He believes he had a gentleman's agreement to leave for £51m to £60m last summer.
The Swede has not given up on heading for the exit door, but a transfer could depend on Sporting lowering their valuation in the coming weeks.
Manchester United, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs too. Al-Hilal are likewise keen but Gyokeres does not want to move to Saudi.
