Borriello considering Milan

Borriello considering Milan

26 May 2008 - 20:58

Genoa's impressive forward Marco Borriello has revealed he has no intentions of joing AC Milan in the summer as a backup striker, but would be interested to join Milan if he was guaranteed a starting role.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • "Milan and Genoa are talking about the co-ownership and soon I'll know what's happening in my future," said Borriello.

"If the president ... is happy with the offer from the rossoneri I'll be delighted to wear their jersey.

"If that's not the case, I won't be unhappy to stay at Genoa.

"I see myself as a first or second choice striker, not fifth choice. In that case I'll stay at Genoa."
