Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres has opened the door to join Manchester United amid Arsenal's reluctance to sign him this summer, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola.
The Sweden international had a sensational 2024/25 campaign with Sporting Lisbon, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists from 52 games.
Despite such statistics, he has received limited interest from the Gunners, who have identified RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko as their prime striker target.
Arsenal appear to be making progress in the Slovenian's pursuit and A Bola report that Gyokeres could now open the door for a reunion with head coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
Gyokeres recently gave the green light to Arsenal due to his desire to play Champions League football, but the Gunners seem focused on landing Sesko from Leipzig at the current point.
This could pave the way for Gyokeres to join United. Amorim played a big part in his development at the Portuguese champions and a reunion could be on the cards at Old Trafford.
