Chelsea have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign winger Jamie Gittens, according to RMC Sport.
The Blues started negotiations with the German outfit for Gittens earlier this month and tried to sign him before the Club World Cup.
Dortmund turned down three bids for the 20-year-old winger, but they have eventually agreed to part ways with him.
The Blues have reportedly agreed on a package of more than €55 million for Gittens, who was formerly with Manchester City.
With both clubs in the United States for the Club World Cup, Gittens has already travelled to undergo his medical tests.
The Blues are likely to pursue another winger after Gittens and they are exploring a deal for Lyon's Malick Fofana.
Fofana's arrival at Stamford Bridge could pave the way for the departure of Noni Madueke, who has been on Arsenal's radar.
The England international could be tempted to join the Gunners if he is assured regular playing time in a rotational role.
