Chelsea have completed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Joao Pedro for a reported fee of £60 million including add-ons.
The Blues have focused on bolstering their attack in recent weeks. The club recently secured verbal agreements to land Jamie Gittens and Pedro.
The latter has now been unveiled by the London giants. He has signed a seven-year contract at the club and will wear the number 20 shirt.
Pedro told Chelsea's official website after his unveiling: "I’m very excited to play for Chelsea, to fight for every title, every tournament and play in the Champions League. Hopefully, we win as many trophies as possible."
The 23-year-old had a solid 2024/25 campaign at Brighton, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists from 30 appearances in all competitions.
He was suspended towards the end of the campaign due to disciplinary issues and will need to improve on the same to impress at the Blues.
The Brazilian has the potential and needs to find consistency hereon.
