Manchester United have been presented the opportunity to sign Douglas Luiz in a swap deal for Jadon Sancho by Juventus, according to Corriere dello Sport.
The Red Devils are keen to get Sancho off their wage bill and it appears he is prepared to accept a paycut to join the Bianconeri. The Turin giants have been made aware of the same and they are reluctant to pay a fee.
Instead, they plan to propose a swap deal with Luiz moving the other way. United are long-term admirers of Luiz and were interested in landing his signature on loan during the last transfer window.
Luiz was also on their radar when he was playing for Aston Villa in the past. With both players valued at €30 million, a swap deal could be on the cards between United and Juventus in the near future.
Luiz has had a dismal career with the Bianconeri and has opened the door for a new challenge. He could be tempted to return to England.
