Manchester United are keen on landing the services of Metz striker Idrissa Gueye amid interest from the likes of West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to L'Equipe.
The 18-year-old signed for the French outfit from Generation Foot in Senegal in January and he played a big role in their top-flight promotion with six goals and an assist from 17 appearances.
The young striker made a big impression in a short space of time and United are now keen on recruiting him. They have already entered into negotiations with his entourage over a possible move.
Borussia Dortmund are also keen admirers of the talented marksman alongside English clubs such as West Ham, Wolves, Southampton among others.
United have made the first contact with the player's camp and they may need to pay at least £13 million to prise him away during the transfer window.
There is a possibility that United could loan him back to the French outfit for the upcoming campaign to earn more experience at the top level.
