Ajax defender Jorrel Hato has travelled to London to undergo his medical with Chelsea, according to reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Netherlands international has emerged as one of the best young defenders in European football and he is now expected to join the Blues.
Chelsea agreed a package worth €42 million to sign him from Ajax earlier this week. He has now travelled to the English capital for his medical tests.
Once the procedure is complete, the Dutchman is expected to put pen to paper on a seven-year deal with the reigning Club World Cup champions.
The Blues are expected to continue their spending spree and could sign Hato's compatriot Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in the coming days too.
