Manchester United have reportedly informed RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko about their bidding plans this month.
The Red Devils are determined to land a new marksman during the ongoing transfer window and Sesko has emerged as the latest target.
After missing out on Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike and Viktor Gyokeres, the club are said to be determined to secure Sesko's signature.
They have now informed the player via his agent that they are prepared to make a formal bid. The striker now needs to decide.
Sesko has also received an approach from Newcastle United. The Magpies have the luxury of Champions League next season.
The 22-year-old is expected to make a final decision soon. There is a possibility that he could stay at Leipzig for another year.
United will reportedly need to pay close to €90 million including add-ons to land Sesko, who netted 13 goals in the Bundesliga last term.
He was on the radar of Arsenal before they chose to land Viktor Gyokeres.
