Manchester United are reportedly determined to land the services of Nico Paz from Como this summer.
The Red Devils have shown big ambition in the transfer market and have already signed Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to bolster their frontline.
The club are also keen on adding more quality in the centre of the park and reports claim that they could make an approach for Paz.
Caught Offside claim that the Red Devils are desperate to land the playmaker, who made 14 goal contributions for Como last term.
The Serie A outfit are expected to demand at least 70 million euros for his services, but their plans could be scuppered by Madrid.
Madrid have the option to buy him back for just eight million euros and could then seek to sell the Argentine for a massive profit.
Como are keen to avoid such a situation and are prepared to pay a sizeable fee to Madrid to cancel the clause from Paz's contract.
