Chelsea playmaker Christopher Nkunku has opened the door for a move to Bayern Munich during the ongoing transfer window, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The Frenchman was on Bayern's radar earlier this summer, but they opted to sign Liverpool's Luis Diaz instead. However, the door has now reopened with Kingsley Coman about to join Al-Nassr.
Nkunku is eager to sign for the Bavarian giants, but their final decision could depend on their pursuit of Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade.
Bayern could focus on landing the young marksman if Stuttgart are willing to negotiate. Otherwise, Nkunku could re-emerge as a target.
Chelsea are closely monitoring the situation. The Blues want a permanent sale of Nkunku so that they can recoup funds for a late spending spree.
The Blues are keen on bolstering their attack with two more names. RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons and Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho are the prime targets for manager Enzo Maresca at the current point of time.
