AC Milan are making progress over a potential deal for Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Rossoneri are determined to land a new striker during the ongoing transfer window, and Hojlund has been identified as a top target.
The Dane was initially reluctant to consider the proposal, but the player's father has now communicated to Milan to give the green light.
Hojlund is now discussing his playing time prospects with the Rossoneri while the clubs continue to negotiate on the package for his deal.
There is currently a gap of 10 million euros in the valuations between the clubs, but a transfer is likely to go through in the coming days.
Juventus have also been credited with an interest in the marksman, and they could yet hijack the deal due to Champions League qualification.
Milan are not playing in any European competition just like United, having finished a lowly eighth in the Italian top-flight last campaign.
