Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson could emerge as an option for Arsenal following a knee injury to Kai Havertz.
The Gunners have recently received bad news with Havertz picking up a knee injury. He suffered the setback against Manchester United last weekend.
As a result, he could be out of action for a reasonable period of time, and The Telegraph report that the club are keen to find a fresh solution upfront.
The club are evaluating their options and it is claimed that they could consider swoop for Jackson, who has been deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea.
The Gunners are likely to push for a loan deal for the Senegalese star, but the Blues could still demand an obligation to buy for around £60 million.
With the huge outlay of £200m made on new signings this summer, the Gunners could be reluctant to commit to such a fee for the Blues ace.
Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins could be another possible target.
