Wolves have agreed a fee with Borussia Dortmund for the sale of striker Fabio Silva, who has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga outfit. 23-year-old Fabio Silva has spent the previous four seasons on loan at Las Palmas, Rangers, PSV Eindhoven and Anderlecht, and now will be allowed to leave Molineux having appeared in the Premier League 62 times since 2020, scoring four goals.
Dortmund have made a habit of signing top young players from Europe, and at one point Fabio Silva was considered one of the hottest properties in world football, but failed to live up to expectations since joining the Premier League outfit. The player is known for his hold up play, and compliments some of Dortmund's style of football, and it is understood the Germans will pay around 15 million euros to sign the former Porto striker.
Wolves paid a club record fee of £35 million in 2020 for Silva, and will only be able to recoup less than half of that, for what ultimately looks like a poor signing overall.
