Galatasaray could focus on signing Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir following Andre Onana's snub this summer.
The Turkish champions were initially keen on landing Manchester City star Ederson, but they were beaten to his signature by rivals Fenerbahce.
Onana was identified as a potential target last week, but the Cameroon international made it clear that he does not wish to leave the club.
Galatasaray could now make an approach for Bayindir, who could be tempted to leave for regular first-team football going forward.
Bayindir has been the deputy to Onana in recent years, but the tables have turned this season. He has started the first three league games.
Despite this, he could be worried about his place in the line-up following the arrival of Belgian sensation Senne Lammens on deadline day.
The 23-year-old has terrific reflexes and likes to command his box. He is also a superb distributor and could become the new number one.
The Turkish transfer window is open until September 12 and it remains to be seen whether Bayindir considers a move to Galatasaray.
