Arsenal were open to parting ways with Gabriel Martinelli for £60 million during the summer transfer window, according to Daily Mail.
The Brazil international had an average 2024/25 campaign with the Gunners, making only 16 goal contributions across all competitions.
There was speculation that he could be offloaded from the squad, but ultimately the club did not receive offers matching their price tag.
The north London giants wanted around £60m to part ways with the Ituano graduate, but there were no proposals of more than £40m for him.
Arsenal were unwilling to accept such offers and decided to keep hold of Martinelli. They shared the same stance on Leandro Trossard.
Trossard was initially linked with a move away from the Gunners, but he eventually ended up receiving a pay rise from the hierarchy.
Despite keeping the duo, Arsenal signed Eberechi Eze, who can operate on the left wing aside from his preferred number 10 position.
Eze is set to provide strong competition to Martinelli and Trossard.
