Manchester United have been handed a big boost following an untimely setback for Manchester City before the Manchester derby on Sunday.
The Red Devils have had a tough start to the Premier League campaign with four points from three games. They take on the Cityzens on the road this weekend.
Ahead of the encounter, the club have received a boost with Omar Marmoush set to miss the derby due to a knee injury sustained on international duty with Egypt.
Marmoush was spotted on crutches with a leg brace and there is a possibility that he could be sidelined for several matches after the setback.
While Egyptian is sidelined, United could also receive a boost from their end with Matheus Cunha on course to make the squad for the trip.
The Brazilian has made good progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury and could be deemed fit to travel to the Etihad Stadium.
He may not be picked in the starting XI, but could play some part.
