Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has heaped praise on goalkeeper Senne Lammens following his fantastic debut against Sunderland in the Premier League.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways against the Black Cats at Old Trafford. Ahead of the game, Amorim made the decision to hand a debut to Lammens between the sticks.
The Belgian produced an assured showing in goal with a couple of key saves. Speaking after the game, Amorim said that the former Antwerp man had a very good performance.
He said: "We need to understand that we need everyone to be ready to play. It's a long season, we have a lot of problems, anything can happen.
"The important thing is that the teammates helped Lammens a lot to have a very good performance."
United picked up their third win of the campaign against the Black Cats. In doing so, they have climbed to 10th in the table with 10 points after seven matches played.
