Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer could be sidelined for several weeks with a groin injury, according to the Daily Mail.
The England international has endured an injury-plagued start to the current campaign and he is presently out with a nagging groin issue.
The Blues decided to rest him before the international break against Liverpool, and he may not return immediately after the restart, as per reports.
Chelsea are unlikely to rush him back to first-team action until he has fully recovered. Hence, Palmer may not feature until early November.
Palmer has been instrumental in the Blues' progress over the past few years, but Chelsea won't be overly concerned by his short-term absence.
The Blues registered a statement 2-1 win over Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend. Estevao scored a late stoppage time winner.
Aside from Estevao, the likes of Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho arrived over the summer and the club have plenty of new attacking talents.
