Manchester United could be prepared to sell Bruno Fernandes for £40 million amid interest from Bayern Munich, according to Teamtalk.
The Portugal international was linked with a £100m move to the Saudi Pro League last summer. Al Hilal made the proposal, but Fernandes had no desire to leave United for the Middle East club.
Fernandes has been ever-present in the starting plans of manager Ruben Amorim this campaign, but there is still speculation that the club captain could move on at the end of the season.
Teamtalk claim that Bayern are keen on landing the services of Fernandes from the Red Devils, and could be prepared to make an offer worth £40m during next summer's transfer window.
Fernandes is also on the radar of Saudi clubs, but the experienced playmaker prefers to continue in Europe next season and has his sights on winning silverware with an elite outfit.
The departure of Fernandes could pave the way for the arrival of a quality defensive midfielder. Adam Wharton and Carlos Baleba have been linked.
