Hugo Lloris joins Lyon

Hugo Lloris joins Lyon

29 May 2008 - 10:02

Hugo Lloris has decided to reject the interest of Tottenham and AC Milan, and has opted to replace Gregory Coupet at Lyon. The keeper is one of the most highly rated young goalkeepers in France.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • It appears that Coupet's exit has seen a revival of Lloris' ambitions at the club.

“I have convictions,” he told L’Equipe. “I have decided the way to take: I will go to OL.

“Lyon, that were very decided (to sign me), have shown more determination and managed to convince me.

“OL make of me a priority whereas Milan did not give themselves the means to persuade me.”
