Manchester United will need to pay a staggering fee of £100 million to purchase Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson next summer.
The Red Devils focused on bolstering their attack during the summer transfer window as they signed Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
They also signed a quality goalkeeper in Senne Lammens. The Belgian ace has already made three starts, keeping a clean sheet against Sunderland.
United's next focus will be on the midfield department and reports claim that the hierarchy are aiming to land two marquee signings next year.
The club could pursue one option in January with another next summer.
Anderson is one of the top names on their radar, but journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that it will take a staggering £100m to prise him away.
Forest are currently in the relegation zone in the Premier League, and it is quite possible that there is a release clause in the Englishman's contract if they don't beat the drop.
