Arsenal are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Levante striker Etta Eyong when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Cameroon has made a big impression during the early months of the current campaign. He was initially with Villarreal before making the move to Levante, where he has built his reputation further.
Eyong has bagged six goals and three assists in La Liga this season and Mundo Deportivo claim that he is keen on sorting out his future in January.
The young striker has already played for Villarreal and Levante this campaign and he cannot play for another club this term due to FIFA regulations.
Despite this, he is keen on pursuing a new club in January. He is prepared to rejoin Levante on a loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Barcelona are firm admirers but may not sign him due to FFP concerns. Amidst this, it is claimed that Arsenal could make an offer.
The striker has a release clause worth €30m for Spanish clubs, but the figure reportedly stands at €40m for Premier League sides.
