Marco Borriello looks set to join AC Milan as his agent Tiberio Cavalleri has confirmed that a deal looks to be in place to bring the player back to the club. An impressive goalscoring season has seen Borriello's stock rise significantly.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen
  • "Borriello has been taken back by Milan," Cavalleri told TuttoMercatoWeb.

"Milan have made an important investment, it's around €10m and they have included young midfielder Di Gennaro in the deal.

"I believe that Milan will have every intention of playing him as a first team striker following their heavy investment."
