Arsenal suffered a couple of injury blows during the 2-0 Premier League victory over Burnley on the road on Saturday.
The Gunners continued their dominance at the top of the table with a convincing win over the Clarets at Turf Moor.
Viktor Gyokeres was the best player in the opening half. He opened the scoring and provided a brilliant long ball before the second goal.
He was unfortunately subbed off at the interval with a muscle injury.
In his pre-match press conference, Arteta also revealed that Martin Zubimendi asked to be substituted after picking up a muscle injury too.
The Spaniard is already suspended for the Champions League trip to Sparta Prague in midweek after a third yellow card of the campaign.
It remains to be seen whether Gyokeres can recover in time for the European encounter. If not, Mikel Merino could lead the line.
Gabriel Martinelli has found success as a central striker, but the Brazilian is likewise on the sidelines with a possible muscular concern.
