Juventus have joined Bayern Munich in the race to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate at the end of the campaign, according to TeamTalk.
The France international has been an ever-present figure in the starting line-up for the Reds, but his future is uncertain beyond the ongoing season.
The centre-back's current deal expires in June next year and as things stand, the Reds' hierarchy have failed to convince him to pen an extension.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with him in recent months, but they are now focused on landing Dayot Upamecano on a free from Bayern.
Bayern have identified Konate as a suitable replacement, but they are expected to face fierce competition from Juventus for his services.
Juventus reportedly have an upper hand over the Bavarian giants, given they are prepared to guarantee him a starting role, right from the beginning.
Bayern are unlikely to provide such assurances. Even if Upamecano leaves, they would still have Jonathan Tah and Kim Min-jae in the squad.
