Arsenal are reportedly aiming to beat Liverpool in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola at the end of the campaign.
The Gunners are looking to sign a marquee left winger next summer and they have identified Barcola as a target amid his contract standoff.
The Frenchman's current deal with Les Parisiens expires in June 2028 and as things stand, he has yet to be convinced to pen a new long-term deal.
If the standoff continues until next summer, the Ligue 1 giants are most likely to sanction his sale rather than allow his valuation to drop further.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the former Lyon graduate but Le 10 Sport claim that Arsenal have now made a strong move for the attacker.
They are already in contact with the player's representative and have their sights on landing his signature, suppose he does not renew his PSG deal.
Barcola could be available for a package between £65-70 million.
