Manchester United have been handed a huge injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on the road this weekend.
The Red Devils have had a mixed league campaign thus far and they are presently two points behind the Champions League qualification spots.
United face a daunting challenge at Villa Park on Sunday, given Unai Emery's side have won 10 of their previous 11 Premier League matches.
They will start the game as underdogs, but could be set for a timely injury boost with Harry Maguire's return from a hamstring problem.
Maguire has been out of action since the 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur prior to the international break, but he could be back in team training soon.
United have handled the Englishman with extra caution and he could now make the matchday squad with Noussair Mazraoui having left for Africa Cup of Nations duty.
While Maguire could be involved in some capacity, Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined with a back concern without any return date.
