Manchester United are prepared to sanction Kobbie Mainoo's exit this winter on one condition, according to Sky Sports.
The Englishman has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim this campaign and he has yet to start in the Premier League.
As a result, he is desperate to leave the club on loan in January. The club graduate has his sights on pushing for a World Cup berth.
It is now claimed that United would be open to parting ways with Mainoo as early as January if they were to receive an 'exceptional' offer.
Mainoo believes he still has a future with the Red Devils, but he could start contemplating his future with the club looking at new midfielders.
Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson have been earmarked as top targets for the summer transfer window.
The club are also exploring the possibility of signing Ruben Neves for a cut-price fee in January with his Al-Hilal contract expiring next summer.
