Manchester City and Bayern Munich are interested in landing the signature of Chelsea defender Josh Acheampong, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Blues graduate has been a key player under manager Enzo Maresca this campaign, and he has made a handful of appearances in all competitions.
Acheampong is considered as a potential future star at the Blues, but Jacobs claims that Man City and Bayern are weighing up offers for his services.
However, Chelsea have no desire to sanction the youngster's exit and plan to keep him at the club next season regardless of the fee on the table.
Acheampong is primarily a central defender, but can operate as a defensive midfielder too. He has occasionally operated from the right-back spot.
His versatility means that Chelsea have an elite young player in their ranks, who could become a world-beater in the long-term with the right exposure.
Acheampong started the midweek win over Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, but he is expected to drop to the bench tomorrow.
