Manchester City have suffered a double injury blow following their 1-1 Premier League draw against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium last weekend.
The Cityzens were on course for a 1-0 victory over the Blues on Sunday, but they were denied right at the end with Enzo Fernandez's stoppage time goal.
As a result, the club have dropped six points behind Arsenal in the league title race, and face a huge challenge on their hands to make up ground.
On top of this, they have suffered a massive double injury blow with their starting centre-backs out injured.
Josko Gvardiol has undergone surgery for a tibial fracture on his right leg and could be ruled out for the remainder of the ongoing league campaign.
Pep Guardiola has now confirmed that Ruben Dias sustained a hamstring injury in the same game, and could be out of action for upto six weeks.
The news is a huge setback for the Mancunian giants, who have now entered the transfer market for a new centre-back with the duo sidelined.
