Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has confirmed that Matthijs de Ligt won't play any part against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Red Devils visit the Emirates Stadium this weekend and ahead of the game, they will be without the services of De Ligt once more.
The Dutchman has been on the sidelines since November with a back problem and Carrick has revealed that he has suffered a minor setback.
Carrick said: "He had a bit of a setback. Well, not really a setback, before I arrived. He is getting closer, and hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, he will be back and around it."
The Red Devils are winless in their last seven league trips to Arsenal with six losses and one draw, but they should fancy their chances this time around.
United secured a stunning 2-0 win over Manchester City at Old Trafford last weekend where they dominated from the off.
A similar performance on Sunday could give them a chance of beating the Gunners, who have lost just two games this term.
