Real Madrid midfielder Wes Sneijder has backed his international and club team mate Arjen Robben to be a serious threat this Euro 2008 tournament. The former Chelsea man has been in outstanding form for the Galacticos this year.
âThe coach has a luxury problem in his hands,â Sneijder told De Telegraaf newspaper. âOf course we must wait and see how he will solve it. But I think itâs very important that Arjen plays.â
âOne of the three offensive midfielders must have pace. Moreover, Robben doesnât defend and he showed that even in the highly competitive games heâs played in Spain. But he was already good and heâs becoming better and better.â
