Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has sent his honest reaction after the club's 2-1 Premier League win over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners reclaimed their five-point lead at the top of the league standings with a hard-fought win over the Blues. William Saliba opened the scoring before a Piero Hincapie own goal equalised proceedings.
Jurrien Timber scored from another corner to seal the victory for the Gunners. Despite the result, Vieira was not entirely pleased and said that one would expect more from the Premier League leaders.
He said: "When you are top of the Champions League and Premier League table, you expect Arsenal to go forward. It was difficult for Arsenal to take chances. The expectation is higher, you expect more from Arsenal."
The Gunners were heavily criticised after the late 2-2 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers, but have since responded with victories over Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, the latter away from home.
They face another stern challenge against Brighton on the road on Wednesday night. The Gunners have had a good record against the Seagulls recently, but are bound to face another tough test.
